Areas covered
Coventry first, and about twenty miles around it. If your cemetery is not named here, ask.
Coventry
Where I am based, and where most of the graves I tend are: Canley Garden Cemetery and Crematorium, London Road, Lentons Lane, St Paul's, Walsgrave and Windmill Road, and the churchyards across the city. Allesley, Tile Hill and Finham are all regular visits.
Kenilworth and Balsall Common
South and west of the city: Kenilworth's Oaks Road cemetery, the churchyards of Balsall Common, Berkswell and Meriden, and on to Leamington Spa and Warwick by arrangement.
Bedworth and Nuneaton
North of the city: Bedworth Cemetery, Nuneaton's cemeteries and the churchyards of the villages between.
Further afield
Anywhere within about twenty miles of Coventry. If I can reach it, I will look after it. Families abroad are very welcome: the photographs come to you wherever you are.
Coventry's six cemeteries
- Canley Garden Cemetery and Crematorium, Canon Hill Road
- London Road Cemetery, Whitley, the Victorian cemetery by the ring road
- Lentons Lane Cemetery, Walsgrave, where the city's new graves are
- St Paul's Cemetery, Holbrooks Avenue
- Walsgrave Cemetery, Woodway Lane
- Windmill Road Cemetery, Foleshill
- The churchyards across the city and the villages around it
Each cemetery has its own rules about what may be left on a grave, set by Coventry Bereavement Services. I know them and work within them.
Somewhere else?
Tell me the cemetery. If I can reach it, I will look after it.
