Two photographs, before and after, sent to you the same day. Here is why that matters more than anything else I do.

When you ask someone to look after a grave you cannot visit, you are trusting them with something that matters enormously and that you cannot check. So I do not ask you to take my word for it.

Every visit starts with a photograph of the grave as I find it and ends with one of the grave as I leave it. Both come to you the same day, by email or WhatsApp, whichever you prefer. You see the weeds that were there and the flowers that are there now.

For families who live abroad, the photographs are often the only way they see the grave at all. Several tell me they keep every one.

Why I photograph every visit
